# HeyReach alternatives when you are not an agency

Six HeyReach alternatives compared on per-sender price, channels, metering and MCP support as of September 2026, with honest notes on where HeyReach still wins.

Namanyay Goel · Updated September 15, 2026 · 10 min read

You have one LinkedIn account, maybe two. HeyReach charges $79 per sender per month, and the whole product is arranged around rotating twenty of them. A campaign stopped mid-run on Tuesday, you wrote to support, and the reply came back three business days later. Meanwhile the email half of your outreach lives in a second tool because HeyReach does not send email itself. That is the week that sends people looking for HeyReach alternatives, and it is the week this page is for.

Disclosure first: I run PumpGTM, which is on the list. Every price and complaint below is from the vendors' own pricing pages or public reviews, checked September 15, 2026. Where HeyReach is the better choice, I say it.

## What HeyReach does well

HeyReach is cloud LinkedIn automation that runs many LinkedIn accounts from one workspace. That is the whole pitch and it delivers on it. Each account gets a dedicated static residential proxy. Accounts auto-freeze near 100 connection requests a week and 200 actions a day. Sender rotation spreads a campaign across accounts. The Unified Inbox is the feature people love: one Reddit user described going from "logging into 12 different LinkedIn accounts every morning" to "now I just open one tab."

The pricing is flat and predictable for agencies. Agency is $999 a month for 25 senders, Unlimited is $2,999 for up to 300 under fair use, as of September 2026. There is whitelabel, done-for-you onboarding, and dedicated Slack support at those tiers. G2 has it at 4.6 across 71 reviews. The MCP server is official, free, and set up per workspace, so Claude can pull campaign data and replies.

If you are an agency running 5 or more client accounts, HeyReach is probably still your tool. Nothing below beats it on that job.

## When to look elsewhere

Four things push people out.

Per-sender pricing at small scale. $79 a sender is fine at 25 senders and awkward at 2. "Can't justify $79/month when I only use 3 LinkedIn accounts. It's built for agencies," as one Reddit user put it.

Support. Trustpilot is 4.0 with 22 percent one-star. The quotes are blunt: "Their support is virtually nonexistent... wait 3 business days," and "Absolutely appalling. The support team are really rude and the product is so faulty." There is also a no-refund policy complaint thread.

Reliability. Campaigns stopping mid-run, "always switch off due to a bug," and sessions that expire so "keeping the profiles connected consistently requires some maintenance."

Single channel. Email is not native. It routes through Instantly, Smartlead or EmailBison. No calls. And there is no lead scoring or signal database; intent has to be pushed in through Clay or RB2B.

One more data point: LinkedIn removed HeyReach's company page and restricted its executives' profiles on March 25, 2026. That does not mean your account is at risk, but it tells you where LinkedIn stands.

## The alternatives

### PumpGTM

PumpGTM is an AI go-to-market engine for founders and small B2B sales teams. Instead of you supplying the list, it finds buyers showing intent right now (hiring on Greenhouse, Lever or LinkedIn Jobs, funding, tooling changes, LinkedIn post engagement), scores them, and runs a paced LinkedIn sequence from your own account, with optional email steps from your own Gmail, Microsoft 365 or IMAP mailbox.

Price as of September 2026: Pro is $75 a month (list $99) for up to 3,000 leads a month, extra users $25 each, 7 day trial, month to month. Fits a founder or a 1 to 4 person team with one or two LinkedIn accounts. Weakness: launched September 2026, no phone channel, and it does not rotate 25 senders. Full introduction below.

### Lemlist

Multichannel outreach: email, LinkedIn steps, SMS, WhatsApp and a dialer, plus a 650M+ database and lemwarm. Email plan is $69 a month, Multichannel $109, as of September 2026; LinkedIn steps need Multichannel. Fits small teams that want every channel in one seat. Weakness: metered credits (verification 5, phone 20, intent 20 to 400 per lookup, charged even when no email is found) and reporting that one Capterra reviewer called "literally unusable." If you are weighing these two specifically, read /vs/lemlist-vs-heyreach, and the wider list at /alternatives/lemlist.

### Expandi

Cloud LinkedIn automation with if-then "smart sequences" and email steps. Business is $99 per seat per month as of September 2026 ($79 annual with a 12-month lock-in), one seat per LinkedIn account. Fits teams that want conditional branching and a good onboarding experience (support is praised: "Neville went above and beyond"). Weakness: the ban stories are the loudest of any tool here. An r/GrowthHacking user wrote "Expandi gets you banned. I have received multiple notices," and a G2 reviewer lost 1,400+ connections after six weeks. Capterra reviewers also report being charged for more seats than purchased.

### Waalaxy

French LinkedIn plus email sequencer. Pro is EUR 19 per user per month for 300 invitations, Advanced EUR 49 for 800 invitations and 500 email finder credits, Business EUR 69 with cold email, as of September 2026 and euro-only. Fits solo sellers and recruiters in Europe. Trustpilot is 4.7 across 1,294 reviews and Capterra reviewers call it "really simple to get started." Weakness: sequences are template-only, personalization variables are thin, and prices roughly doubled since mid-2024. Support hours are poor for US users.

### Dripify

Cloud LinkedIn drip sequencer sold per LinkedIn seat. Basic is $59 a month (one campaign, 20 requests a day, no CSV export), Pro $79 (75 requests a day, export, webhooks), Advanced $99, as of September 2026. Fits a solo rep who wants something they can "figure it out in 5 minutes," per Capterra, where it holds 4.7 across 477 reviews. Weakness: no MCP or AI-agent integration at all, webhooks cannot carry message content, and users report "account restrictions and even bans when using default settings" plus renewal charges with no notice. Basic's single campaign "can't be edited or archived."

### La Growth Machine

French multichannel automation sold per "identity" (one LinkedIn account plus its inboxes). Basic is EUR 60 per identity for LinkedIn and email, Pro EUR 120 adds calls, a multichannel inbox and API, as of September 2026. Fits a small team or agency running 1 to 6 identities that wants a dedicated mobile proxy per account and HubSpot or Pipedrive sync. Safety is the thing people praise: "all the other tools just get me banned." Weakness: cost scales linearly per identity, a competitor review notes "No LinkedIn account auto-rotation," and Trustpilot (4.3 from 28) carries a one-star from someone who "spent $10,000 on the worst experience ever" over webhook failures.

## How PumpGTM is different

PumpGTM finds the buyers who are showing intent this week and runs the LinkedIn conversation for you, from your own account, until someone qualified replies.

HeyReach starts from a list you bring. PumpGTM starts from a signal. Step one: it watches for a Greenhouse or Lever posting for the role you sell to, a funding round, a tooling change, or the people who engaged with a competitor's post, and builds the list from that. You can also import a Sales Navigator search. Step two: every lead gets a score out of 100 and anyone under 60 is skipped; the reasoning is at /blog/linkedin-lead-scoring-before-outreach. Step three: a paced sequence runs, day 0 profile view, day 1 like a relevant post, day 2 personalized connection request, then a contextual follow-up, with optional email from your own mailbox. Replies are sorted and the qualified ones come to you.

Proof from one San Francisco team over the last 7 days in September 2026: 546 invites sent, 356 accepted (68 percent against roughly 20 percent industry standard), 98 qualified replies, 38 enterprise demo meetings booked. We run GTM for 10+ YC companies. Dhravya Shah at Supermemory: "PumpGTM found exactly the right leads for my business and reaches out to them, automatically."

Like HeyReach, PumpGTM runs as an MCP server (mcp.gigacatalyst.com, OAuth) for Claude, Cursor and Codex, and the AI client can find buyers, draft and send LinkedIn messages, and read replies. Details at /mcp.

The honest limits. We launched in September 2026. No phone. No sender rotation across dozens of accounts, so an agency with 25 client profiles should stay on HeyReach. Not a data vendor; lists come from live signals and Sales Navigator imports. Pricing and the 7 day trial are at /.

## Questions people ask

Is HeyReach good for a solo founder? It works, but the pricing is built for agencies. At $79 per sender as of September 2026, a founder with one account pays the same rate as an agency with twenty and gets a product designed around rotation they will not use.

What is the cheapest HeyReach alternative? Waalaxy Pro at EUR 19 per user per month, or Dripify Basic at $59, both as of September 2026. Both are template or drip sequencers with tighter limits than HeyReach.

Which HeyReach alternative sends email natively? Lemlist, Waalaxy Business, Dripify, La Growth Machine and PumpGTM all send email from inside the sequence. HeyReach hands email to Instantly, Smartlead or EmailBison.

Does HeyReach have an MCP server? Yes, official and free, configured per workspace under Integrations. Lemlist, Waalaxy (Advanced and up), La Growth Machine and PumpGTM also have official servers. Dripify has none. Expandi's is a private beta.

How do I export my leads from HeyReach? Go to Leads / Lists, open the three-dot menu on a list, and choose "Export to CSV." Note that the export only includes HeyReach's default columns, not your custom variables.

Is PumpGTM safer for my LinkedIn account than HeyReach? Neither of us can promise zero risk. PumpGTM runs one paced sequence from your own account with profile views and post likes before the connection request, which is a lower-volume pattern than rotating senders. HeyReach's per-account proxy and auto-freeze are real safety features for the agency use case.
