How is a referral tracked?

Your link sets a 90 day cookie. If that visitor pays within the window, the customer is yours. Clicks, signups, and payments appear in your dashboard as they happen.

How and when do I get paid?

Commissions clear 30 days after each payment, to cover refunds, then pay out monthly to your bank account or PayPal. No minimum.
