# Best LinkedIn automation tools for founders (2026): 7 tools ranked by a founder

Best LinkedIn automation tools for founders with no SDR: 7 tools ranked on own-account safety, signal targeting, reply handling, price and MCP.

Namanyay Goel · Updated September 15, 2026 · 10 min read

## The week this list is for

You have a working product and a few paying customers. You do not have an SDR, and you are not hiring one this quarter. Your LinkedIn account gives you about 200 connection requests a week, and that is the scarcest resource in your go-to-market. Every request spent on the wrong person is one you cannot spend on the right one. And it is you, not a rented seat, so you cannot afford a restriction.

That is the founder this list of the best LinkedIn automation tools for founders is written for. I am one too (Namanyay, PumpGTM, YC), so PumpGTM is on the list and ranked first. I try to earn that below by saying where each competitor wins.

## How I ranked them

Five criteria, in the order a founder should weigh them.

Own-account safety and pacing. Does the tool publish its daily and weekly caps? Does it space actions out like a human, and does it use a fixed IP per account?

Targeting by signal, not static lists. A tool that only runs a CSV you upload makes you the targeting engine. The math on why is in the [enterprise meetings playbook](/blog/linkedin-outbound-playbook-enterprise-meetings).

Reply handling. Does it stop the sequence on a reply, sort it, and put the qualified ones in front of you?

Price under $100 a month for one account, month to month, with the real all-in number.

MCP, so Claude, Cursor or Codex can drive it.

## The 7 tools

Prices below are as of September 2026, billed monthly, for one LinkedIn account unless stated.

HeyReach $79 per sender LinkedIn only, email via partner tools No built-in signals Yes, free 14 days, no card

Expandi $99 per seat LinkedIn, email steps (bring your own mailbox) Post engagers, groups, events Private beta, drafts only 7 days

Waalaxy EUR 19 to 69 per user LinkedIn, email on Business Post reactions, groups, events Advanced or Business only 14 days

Dripify $59 to $99 per user LinkedIn, basic email steps Not published No 7 days, no card

### 1. PumpGTM

Price: $75 a month (list $99), up to 3,000 leads a month, extra users $25 a month each, 7 day trial, card required when the live trial starts, month to month, cancel anytime.

Best for: a founder who wants the targeting done for them. PumpGTM finds buyers showing intent right now (hiring on Greenhouse, Lever or LinkedIn Jobs, funding, tooling changes, engagement on LinkedIn posts), scores every lead so anyone under 60 of 100 gets no message, then runs a paced sequence from your own account: day 0 profile view, day 1 like a relevant post, day 2 personalized connection request, then a contextual follow-up. Email steps go from your own mailbox. Replies are sorted and the qualified buyers land with you. The MCP server (mcp.gigacatalyst.com, OAuth) lets Claude, Cursor or Codex find buyers, draft and send, and read replies.

Proof: in the last 7 days one San Francisco team sent 546 invites, had 356 accepted (68%, against roughly 20% industry standard), got 98 qualified replies and booked 38 enterprise demos. Dhravya Shah at Supermemory: "PumpGTM found exactly the right leads for my business and reaches out to them, automatically."

Real weakness: it launched in September 2026. No phone channel, no multi-inbox email warm-up farm, no 200M contact database. If you want to blast a purchased list at volume, this is not it.

### 2. HeyReach

Price: $79 per sender a month, $63 annual, from [https://www.heyreach.io/pricing](https://www.heyreach.io/pricing). 14 day trial with 3 accounts, no card. An Early Stage Program for companies under $250,000 ARR and fewer than 5 people exists, amount not published.

Best for: a founder who will run two or three accounts and wants one inbox. The Unified Inbox is the most praised feature. Official MCP at no extra cost, fixed residential proxy per account, auto-freeze near 100 requests a week.

Real weakness: LinkedIn only, so email needs Instantly or Smartlead on a second bill, and there is no built-in signal or scoring. Trustpilot sits at 4.0 with 22% one star and quotes like "Their support is virtually nonexistent... wait 3 business days." LinkedIn removed HeyReach's company page on March 25, 2026, as HeyReach reports on its own blog. Pick HeyReach over PumpGTM if you run several accounts and want one inbox. More on that trade in the [HeyReach alternatives](/alternatives/heyreach) page.

### 3. Expandi

Price: $99 per seat a month, $79 annual with a 12 month lock-in, from [https://expandi.io/pricing/](https://expandi.io/pricing/). 7 day trial. Image, GIF and video personalization through Hyperise and Sendspark are paid extras with unpublished prices; one aggregator (sbl.so) estimates real spend at $257 to $277 a month with add-ons.

Best for: a founder who wants to build their own if-then sequence logic (branch on accept, reply, engagement) and push events to HubSpot, Pipedrive or Salesforce through webhooks.

Real weakness: account risk is the loudest complaint. An r/LeadGeneration user (via trykondo.com): "literally lost my lifelong account with 1000+ connections because I was using expandi.io automation." Capterra reviewers report being charged for more seats than purchased and campaigns that "mysteriously disappear or get stuck." MCP is a private beta that drafts only. For a founder whose one account is irreplaceable, this is the wrong risk profile at the wrong price.

### 4. Waalaxy

Price in EUR, from [https://www.waalaxy.com/pricing](https://www.waalaxy.com/pricing): Pro EUR 19 per user a month (300 invites a month), Advanced EUR 49 (800 invites, 500 email finder credits), Business EUR 69 (800 invites plus cold email sequences). Yearly billing is 50% off. 14 day trial.

Best for: a founder in Europe on a tight budget who wants a simple, template-driven sequencer with Sales Navigator import. Capterra reviewers call it "really simple to get started." Trustpilot is 4.7 from 1,294 reviews, 3% one star, the best ratio here. Paid plans send from the cloud with published caps (200 invites a week on Advanced and Business).

Real weakness: sequences are limited to 99+ templates rather than custom logic. Reviewers report "buggy behavior during campaigns, like incorrect messages being sent" (via salesrobot.co). Prices roughly doubled since mid-2024 (marketbetter.ai). MCP and API need Advanced or Business, and the LinkedIn inbox is an add-on at about EUR 20. The [Expandi vs Waalaxy](/vs/expandi-vs-waalaxy) page does that side by side.

### 5. Dripify

Price from [https://dripify.com/pricing](https://dripify.com/pricing): Basic $59 per user a month ($39 yearly) with 1 campaign, 20 requests a day and no CSV export. Pro $79 ($59 yearly) with unlimited campaigns, 75 requests a day, CSV export, inbox and webhooks. Advanced $99 ($79 yearly). 7 day trial, no card.

Best for: the fastest setup on this list, with a drag-and-drop drip. Capterra: "First time users will figure it out in 5 minutes."

Real weakness: no MCP at all, and no intent signals. Reviewers report "account restrictions and even bans when using default settings" (salesforge.ai), quotas that do not fill ("they say 75 per day, the system only sent 5" via linkedhelper.com), and renewal charges with no notification. Basic cannot export leads.

### 6. Lemlist

Price from [https://www.lemlist.com/pricing](https://www.lemlist.com/pricing): the $69 Email plan does not include LinkedIn steps. For LinkedIn you need Multichannel at $109 per user a month ($87 annual), plus credits at $10 per 1,000 for verification, phone numbers and intent signals. 14 day trial, no card.

Best for: a founder who wants email volume, a 650M contact database, SMS or WhatsApp, and LinkedIn as a secondary channel, all from one vendor. The MCP at app.lemlist.com/mcp is on every plan with 40+ actions.

Real weakness: the price. A G2 reviewer (via dealsflow.co): "once you start using the platform to any significant degree, the costs mount up quickly." Reporting is the loudest product complaint ("literally unusable" on Capterra). If email volume is your main play, pick Lemlist over PumpGTM. If LinkedIn is, read the [Lemlist alternatives](/alternatives/lemlist).

### 7. Gojiberry

Price: $99 a month for Pro, with 2 AI agents (LinkedIn senders) and up to 1,800 prospects contacted a month, from [https://gojiberry.ai/](https://gojiberry.ai/) (pricing is on the homepage). Monthly, cancel anytime.

Best for: a founder who wants signal-driven targeting like PumpGTM's and prefers a team that has been at it longer. Gojiberry is a YC Spring 2026 company that watches post engagers, competitor followers, job changes, hiring and funding. It offers "full auto or approve before it sends," an MCP connector under "Connect MCP," and HubSpot and Pipedrive sync.

Real weakness: the two-sender cap is "the most repeated complaint" (heyreach.io), scoring is "a black box you can't tune" (salesrobot.co), and G2 reviewers mention a slow interface and workflows needing refinement. Trustpilot (4.4 from 67) has recent complaints about unpaid affiliate payouts, and third parties report card charges continuing after cancellation. No Salesforce. It is seventh not because it is worst but because it is the closest substitute for the top pick at a higher price. The [head to head with PumpGTM and Okara](/blog/gojiberry-vs-pumpgtm-vs-okara-ai-outreach-tools) is a separate post.

## When a founder should pick a competitor

Running three or more LinkedIn accounts: HeyReach. Email volume with a database and warm-up: Lemlist. Custom branching logic and CRM webhooks with a tolerance for account risk: Expandi. Under EUR 50 a month in Europe: Waalaxy. Five minute setup with no AI at all: Dripify.

Pick PumpGTM when you have one account, no SDR, and want the tool to decide who deserves one of your 200 requests this week. If your question is "which of these can my AI drive," the [LinkedIn tools with an MCP server](/best/linkedin-outreach-tools-with-mcp-server) page answers that, and if you are weighing full AI SDRs, the [AI SDR tools for startups](/best/ai-sdr-tools-for-startups) list is the next read. ## Questions people ask

What is the safest LinkedIn automation tool for a founder's own account? No tool is compliant with LinkedIn's terms. The safer ones publish caps under 100 requests a week, space actions out, use a fixed IP per account, and only message people worth the request.

How many connection requests can I send a week on LinkedIn? LinkedIn caps most accounts around 100 to 200 requests a week. Expandi's help center cites 100, Waalaxy caps its Advanced and Business plans at 200.

Which LinkedIn automation tools have an MCP server? As of September 2026: PumpGTM (OAuth), HeyReach (free), Lemlist (all plans), Gojiberry, and Waalaxy on Advanced or Business. Expandi's is a private beta that drafts only. Dripify has none.

Is Waalaxy or Dripify cheaper for one account? Waalaxy Pro is EUR 19 a month for 300 invites, Dripify Basic is $59 for 20 requests a day with no CSV export. Waalaxy is cheaper; Dripify Pro at $79 gives more daily volume and export.
