How PumpGTM protects your account The honest answer: LinkedIn automation can absolutely get you restricted, and I got my own account restricted twice before I figured out why. It is a real risk. I got my own account restricted twice before I understood what causes it. So this is not a "don't worry, it's fine" post. LinkedIn automation can get you restricted. What matters is whether the tool behaves like a person or like a bot, and most of them behave like bots. ## What actually gets an account restricted Two things. The account looks like it is being driven from a data center instead of a real place, and it does more actions in a day than a human plausibly could. My own mistake early on was the second one: I fired off hundreds of connection requests and likes in a burst, and LinkedIn noticed. Once I stopped doing that, and kept every account under normal human activity, the restrictions stopped. I have run my own account continuously for months since, along with a set of San Francisco startups on the same setup. ## How PumpGTM keeps an account healthy Its own IP, in your location. Every account gets its own server and a long-lived residential proxy in the geography the account is actually in. After the first sign-in and 2FA, that account stays on the same IP and server, so LinkedIn keeps seeing one consistent, real-looking connection instead of a rotating data center. A real warm-up. When a new account connects, PumpGTM does not start blasting. On the first day it does no more than about ten actions total, and not even five connection requests. It ramps up slowly from there. That is what makes LinkedIn read it as a real person settling into normal use. Hard limits, under human levels. LinkedIn caps connection requests at 200 per week per account, and nobody can change that. PumpGTM stays inside it, and rate-limits everything else below what a normal person does. If you ask it to do too much in a day, it will hold the rest for tomorrow rather than push the account into trouble. Quiet activity to stay warm. Between campaigns, the account does small natural things like viewing a profile, so the connection stays healthy without piling on outreach. ## If you are switching from another tool Do not run PumpGTM and another automation tool on the same account at once. They cannot see each other, so both will try to spend the same weekly budget and the account ends up doing double the safe volume. The safety part is the foundation under all of it, because none of the outreach matters if the account gets restricted. ## Questions founders ask Can LinkedIn automation get me banned? Yes, it can, usually from data-center IPs and from doing far more actions in a day than a human would. Staying on one residential IP and under normal activity is what avoids it. How does PumpGTM avoid restrictions? Each account runs on its own server and residential proxy in your location, warms up slowly over the first days, and stays under LinkedIn's limits with rate limits below human activity levels. What is the LinkedIn connection request limit? LinkedIn allows 200 connection requests per week per account, and it cannot be raised. PumpGTM works within that, so with three accounts you can safely reach roughly 600 people a week. How long is the warm-up? The first few days are deliberately slow, starting around ten actions on day one and no more than five connection requests, then ramping up so the account looks like normal human use. Can I run PumpGTM alongside Dripify or another tool? Not on the same account at the same time, because they will double up on the safe weekly volume. During a switch, PumpGTM's side gets limited so the two do not clash. Do you need my LinkedIn password?
