# PumpGTM vs Lemlist

PumpGTM vs Lemlist compared by the PumpGTM founder: what each does, pricing as of September 2026, where Lemlist wins (email volume, reporting) and where we do.

Namanyay Goel · Updated September 15, 2026 · 9 min read

Your week looks like this. Monday you pull 200 names from Sales Navigator. Tuesday you paste them into a sequencer and write three messages. Wednesday through Friday you watch the acceptance rate sit around 20% and answer two replies, one of which is a recruiter. You know most of those 200 were never going to buy this quarter. You just had no way to tell which ones.

That is the problem PumpGTM was built around, and it is a different problem than the one Lemlist solves. This PumpGTM vs Lemlist page is written by me, Namanyay, the founder of PumpGTM, so you know the bias going in. Every Lemlist fact here comes from Lemlist's own pricing and help pages or from public reviews, with the meaning kept intact. Where Lemlist is the better pick, I say so, because a founder who buys the wrong tool churns in a month and tells five friends.

## What PumpGTM is

PumpGTM is an AI go-to-market engine for founders and small B2B sales teams. It finds buyers showing intent right now, scores them, and runs paced LinkedIn (and optional email) outreach from your own accounts, then hands you the qualified replies.

## How it works

It starts before the message. PumpGTM watches live signals: a company posting on Greenhouse, Lever or LinkedIn Jobs for the role you sell to, a funding round, a tooling change, or people engaging with a relevant LinkedIn post. You can also import a Sales Navigator list. Every lead gets a score out of 100. Under 60 gets no message. That single rule is why the acceptance rate below is not 20%.

Then a multi-touch sequence runs from your own LinkedIn account at a human pace: day 0 a profile view, day 1 a like on a relevant post of theirs, day 2 a personalized connection request, then a contextual follow-up. If you add email, it sends from your own Gmail, Microsoft 365 or IMAP mailbox, not from a rented inbox. Replies get sorted and the qualified buyers land with you. I wrote up why the pacing matters in [the multi-touch LinkedIn outreach review](/blog/multi-touch-linkedin-outreach-review).

It also runs as an MCP server at mcp.gigacatalyst.com with OAuth, so Claude, Cursor or Codex can find buyers, draft and send LinkedIn messages, and read replies without opening the app.

## Proof

Last 7 days, one SF team, September 2026: 546 invites sent, 356 accepted (68%, against roughly 20% industry standard), 98 qualified replies, 38 enterprise demo meetings booked. PumpGTM runs GTM for 10+ YC companies. Early customers include founders at Workers.io, Supermemory, Harbor, Plek and Smol Machines. Dhravya Shah at Supermemory: "PumpGTM found exactly the right leads for my business and reaches out to them, automatically." We are Giga Next Inc., a Y Combinator company in San Francisco.

## What Lemlist is

Lemlist is a cold outreach tool that sends email, LinkedIn, SMS, WhatsApp and call sequences, bundled with a 650M+ contact database and email warm-up (lemwarm). It sells to SDRs, founders and agencies, and it has been around long enough to build a large review base: G2 4.6 from 1,424 reviews, Capterra 4.6 from 387, Trustpilot 4.7 from 228 with 81% five-star.

Its strengths are real. Email deliverability tooling is deep: lemwarm "automatically exchanges real emails with real inboxes," and Lemlist documents per-mailbox caps on a rolling 24 hours (30 emails a day for a new mailbox, 40 after a month, under 70 a day including warm-up). One Reddit user called stable deliverability "the main reason I'm still on it." Dynamic images and custom landing pages lift replies per Capterra reviewers. Email plus LinkedIn in one workflow, a database with email and phone finder on every plan, an Agency cockpit for client teams, HubSpot and Salesforce two-way sync, and an MCP server at app.lemlist.com/mcp with 40+ actions.

Reviewers also flag weak spots. "The reporting is literally unusable," with false opens, clicks and lead scores (Capterra). "Once you start using the platform to any significant degree, the costs mount up quickly" (G2), and credits get charged "even when the system cannot actually find the email address," with 96 G2 mentions of data inaccuracy. A "steep learning curve" (Trustpilot) and 98 G2 mentions of difficult setup. A Chrome extension that needs reinstalling. And on LinkedIn, a third-party review notes the founder's own account was banned for automation.

## Pricing side by side

Lemlist's Email plan is $69 a month billed monthly ($55 annual) with unlimited users and 50,000 emails a month, as of September 2026. LinkedIn steps require Multichannel at $109 a month ($87 annual), billed per user with 5 senders each. Credits are extra: 1,000 for $10, 5 per email verification, 20 per phone number, included monthly credits not published. 14-day trial, no card. Current card at [https://www.lemlist.com/pricing](https://www.lemlist.com/pricing).

## Choose Lemlist if

You are email-first and need volume. If your plan is 50,000 emails a month across warmed inboxes, Lemlist has the warm-up, the per-mailbox caps and the deliverability hub for it. PumpGTM sends email only from your own mailbox and has no warm-up farm.

You need SMS, WhatsApp or a dialer in the same sequence. PumpGTM is LinkedIn and email only.

You want a contact database in the same seat. Lemlist's 650M+ database with email and phone finder is built in. We build lists from signals and Sales Navigator, not from a static database.

You need mature reporting and integrations today. Even with the reporting complaints, Lemlist has years of HubSpot and Salesforce sync, an Agency cockpit and a large review base. We launched in September 2026.

You want a 14-day trial without a card.

## Choose PumpGTM if

Your problem is who to message, not how many messages to send. Signal-based targeting and scoring before any message is the whole point. If 80% of your Sales Navigator list was never going to buy this quarter, more sends do not help.

You have one LinkedIn account and want it treated carefully. Day 0 view, day 1 like, day 2 request, from your own account, at a pace that reads as a person.

You want your outreach reachable from Claude or Cursor with the same tool that finds the buyers. Both products have MCP servers; ours covers find, send and read replies in one loop.

You want one price. $75 a month, 3,000 leads, no credit meter. No "the costs mount up quickly."

## The objection you already have

"It's new." Yes. We launched in September 2026, we have no phone channel, no warm-up farm and no 200M contact database. What we have is last week's numbers above and 10+ YC companies running on it. If your outbound is email volume, pick Lemlist and come back when you need targeting. If you are switching, [exporting your leads from Lemlist](/guides/export-leads-from-lemlist) takes a few minutes, and [the Lemlist alternatives page](/alternatives/lemlist) shows the other options fairly. For a neutral read on Lemlist against its closest LinkedIn rival, see [Lemlist vs HeyReach](/vs/lemlist-vs-heyreach), and the full [Lemlist review](/reviews/lemlist) has the reviewer quotes in context. The short [compare page](/compare) has the one-screen version.

Next step: [start the 7 day trial](https://app.pumpgtm.com/onboarding). Card is required when the live trial starts, and you can cancel any time.

## Questions people ask

Is PumpGTM cheaper than Lemlist? For LinkedIn plus email, yes. PumpGTM Pro is $75 a month with 3,000 leads included and no credit meter as of September 2026. Lemlist Multichannel is $109 per user plus credits. Lemlist's email-only plan at $69 is cheaper if you never touch LinkedIn.

Can PumpGTM send 50,000 emails a month like Lemlist? No. PumpGTM sends email from your own Gmail, Microsoft 365 or IMAP mailbox with no warm-up farm. Lemlist is the right tool for that volume.

Does Lemlist score leads before sending? No. Lemlist sells intent signals per credit but sends to whoever is in the campaign. PumpGTM scores every lead and sends nothing to anyone under 60 out of 100.

Do both have an MCP server? Yes. Lemlist's is at app.lemlist.com/mcp with 40+ actions. PumpGTM's is at mcp.gigacatalyst.com with OAuth and lets Claude, Cursor or Codex find buyers, send LinkedIn messages and read replies.

What is the trial difference? Lemlist gives 14 days with no card. PumpGTM gives 7 days and asks for a card when the live trial starts, month to month, cancel anytime.

Is PumpGTM safe for my LinkedIn account? No tool can promise that. PumpGTM sends from your own account at a paced multi-touch rhythm, and last week's 68% acceptance rate came from 546 invites in 7 days for one team.

PumpGTM finds the buyers showing intent this week and runs the outreach from your own LinkedIn account. 7 day trial, $75 a month after.
