Introducing Signals: buyer activity for your sales agent
The PumpGTM Signals API and MCP bring buyer and company activity into your workflows. Hiring is available first; Reddit, funding, and more are coming.

The useful moment in a sales workflow often starts outside your CRM. A company opens a role your product helps with. A founder asks Reddit for a better tool. A new executive joins an account you've wanted to reach.
Signals is where those moments belong in PumpGTM. It's an API and MCP platform for bringing buyer and company activity into the workflows you build.
Start with hiring
Hiring is the first signal available in the public developer preview. Filter the shared index by role, company domain, and known headcount. Each event includes the job, company, source link, and observation date.
Use the evidence to decide whether an account deserves more research. Continue with the People API to find context on the contacts you choose. You control the next step.
The feed covers jobs already collected in PumpGTM's shared index. Collection follows demand, so coverage and refresh times vary. A posting may have closed since we observed it. Those details stay visible in the response.
More signals belong in the same workflow
Reddit is coming to the Signals API, including buying-intent discussions and keyword mentions. You'll be able to follow the conversations relevant to your product or competitors.
Fundraising, LinkedIn posts, decision-maker changes, and headcount growth are also planned. The signal catalog distinguishes available types from coming-soon categories. Hiring is the only callable type in this release.
The aim is a single integration your team can build on as more sources arrive.
Give agents an event they can use
Read an available signal through REST or the list_signal_events MCP tool. For event consumers, the hiring preview also implements experimental MCP Events polling.
The extension is still a proposal. Existing open-source clients provide examples to build against, and our MCP guide includes a runnable polling demo. It saves incoming events and local review tasks in the same SQLite transaction.
Every hiring observation has a stable event ID. A reconnect can deliver it again, and your consumer can recognize work it already completed. Try the replay example on the Signals page.
Connect activity to action
Hiring-index reads use 0 Energy during the developer preview. Separate People API lookups use your workspace Energy balance. New signal types will have their own coverage and usage details when they become available.
Signals adds buyer and company activity to PumpGTM's people data and sales distribution. Start with a hiring event. Build the workflow that makes it useful to your team.
