Codex for sales: questions
The short answers about running outreach from Codex.
Can Codex send LinkedIn messages?
Not on its own. Codex has no access to your LinkedIn account. With PumpGTM connected, Codex writes the messages and PumpGTM sends them from your own LinkedIn at a human pace, after you approve the sequence.
How do I connect Codex to LinkedIn?
Add the PumpGTM MCP server (add the server), sign in to PumpGTM, then connect your LinkedIn account inside PumpGTM when you are ready to send. Codex never needs your LinkedIn password.
Is it safe to let Codex run my outreach?
Codex signs in to PumpGTM with OAuth and only reaches your own workspace. Sequences start after you approve them, and each reply waits for your decision before anything is sent.
Does it work in the Codex app and the Codex CLI?
Yes. Both read the same MCP configuration, so adding PumpGTM once makes it available in either.
Does Codex need an API key for PumpGTM?
No. Codex signs in with OAuth through codex mcp login pumpgtm. No key or header is needed.
How much does it cost?
Starter is $75 a month per LinkedIn account, or $900 billed yearly, to reach up to 1,000 people a month. Hypergrowth is $149 a month per LinkedIn account, or $1,788 billed yearly, to reach up to 10,000 people a month. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial, $0 today. A card is required when the trial starts. Each LinkedIn account comes with an email inbox and an X account. Cancel anytime.
Does the same connection work in other AIs?
Yes. PumpGTM is a standard MCP server at mcp.pumpgtm.com/mcp, so the same workspace works in Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, Grok, Muse and OpenAI Dots.
