A YC founder with a message still being written
Workers.io helps engineering teams ship mission-critical software at agent speed: virtual environments that behave like production and reproduce the bugs that only show up there. It is a product engineering leaders understand fast once you describe it in their terms. The hard part for Chaitanya Choudhary, going through Y Combinator's Fall 2026 batch, was working out which terms.
Early outbound is not really about volume. It is about finding out which version of your pitch makes a CTO reply. That takes a steady flow of the right people and a way to try different angles on them without hand-building a new list every time.
What he wanted
Chaitanya wanted relevant engineering managers, CTOs and SREs pulled from more than one source, so he was not learning from a single skewed list. He wanted to test messaging on them and see what moved. And once the message worked, he wanted his whole team sending it, from their own accounts, without each person rebuilding the setup.
How PumpGTM runs it
PumpGTM read workers.io and built the buyer picture: who owns reliability and release risk, and where they sit. It then found real people from several sources and put them in front of Chaitanya for review before anything went out.
From his own LinkedIn account, PumpGTM sends connection requests inside the platform's limits, waits for acceptance, then sends the message he approved. Different messages can run against different people, and replies come back with the message that earned them, so the comparison is made on real answers rather than on gut. A reply stops that person's sequence and waits for a human.
Adding the team is the part most tools get wrong. In PumpGTM one company has one set of leads and one inbox, and each teammate connects their own LinkedIn as a sender. Nobody is re-uploading lists or duplicating outreach to the same person.
In his words
PumpGTM quickly finds relevant leads from different sources and allows me to test messaging. I'm onboarding my entire team now to speed up my outbound sales.
Why it fits
A YC batch is a few months to find the message and the buyer at the same time. PumpGTM gives Workers.io a constant supply of the right people to test on, keeps every message coming from a real founder or engineer on the team, and turns the test into the pipeline the moment something works.
