Overview
Hank finds public and private construction work before it goes to bid, and names the person to call. Its buyers are general contractors, materials suppliers, paving companies and the trades. A second line sells data on retiring and newly hired teachers to insurance companies.
LinkedIn is where Hank books calls. Eric Sabshon, co-founder and COO, moved the team's LinkedIn outreach from Dripify to PumpGTM.
The challenge
- Two profiles did all the sending. On Dripify, almost everything went out from Eric's account and one other. Neither came close to what LinkedIn allows.
- More accounts meant more work. Running five accounts by hand, one login at a time, was not realistic.
- The shortcut was the wrong kind of volume. A consultant quoted about $3,500 to stack Sales Navigator licenses and push InMails in bulk. Eric passed. He wanted real people's accounts sending at a pace LinkedIn accepts.
The whole point of doing this in bulk: I was really only sending out from my account and another person's account, but I wasn't pushing it to the level that I needed it to.
On the consultant, he was short: "I'd much rather do it the real way."
The solution
Eric runs all of Hank's LinkedIn outreach from one PumpGTM workspace.
- Every account in one place. Teammates get an invite, connect their LinkedIn once, and Eric runs every account from his workspace.
- Warm-up for each account. Each new account ramps up gradually and stays under LinkedIn's limits.
- One sequence, many senders. Sending is split across all connected accounts. Each person gets a connection request with no note, then follow-ups once they accept. A reply stops the sequence for that person.
- Room for more sequences. When more than one sequence is live, sending is split evenly between them.
- LinkedIn plus email. Eric is adding email alongside LinkedIn, so prospects hear from Hank on both.
Before switching, Eric asked a lot of good questions. We wrote up what he asked and what we told him.
The results
- 5 LinkedIn accounts from his team, all running from one workspace. On Dripify it was two.
- About 4,500 prospects in the first sequence, aimed at general contractors and suppliers.
- Dripify replaced. Hank's LinkedIn sending now runs through PumpGTM.
- More on the way. Two new sequences are being drafted, one for construction growth leaders and one for retiring teachers. Eric is adding more accounts too.
In his words
If I'm controlling five separate accounts by myself, it's a major pain, but this is just kind of great and automated.
I love how easy it is to hook up different accounts. It's been working really good, and I'm gonna keep bringing on new accounts in here, just because of how useful it is.
I honestly like how this is better than Dripify.
And more simply: "It's a really good product you built."
Why it fits
Hank needs a lot of reach from real accounts, not bought profiles. PumpGTM lets Eric add a teammate's LinkedIn with an invite and run every account from one place, each at a pace LinkedIn accepts.
