How to export leads from LinkedIn Sales Navigator

Sales Navigator has no CSV export. The routes that work (CRM sync, SNAP apps, extractors, manual), the 2,500 and 1,000 caps, account risk, and what to do next.

You spent an hour in Sales Navigator building the search. Fifteen filters, Boolean on the title, the right headcount band. You saved 400 people to a list. Now you want that list in a spreadsheet, or in the tool that sends the messages, and there is no button. This page is how to export leads from LinkedIn Sales Navigator when LinkedIn does not want you to, what each route costs, and what to do with the list once you have it.

There is no export button, and LinkedIn says so

LinkedIn's own help center puts it plainly: "LinkedIn currently doesn't offer the option to export account and lead information from Sales Navigator into a CSV or XLS file" (help article). Reviewers list it as a top complaint next to the Core vs Advanced feature gap and the InMail limits. Your lead lists are meant to stay inside LinkedIn.

Every route below is a workaround. One of them breaks the User Agreement, and I will say which.

The four routes that actually work

Third-party extractorany plan, plus the tool's fee2,500 results per searchbreaks User Agreement 8.2

1. CRM Sync, then export from the CRM

This is the only path LinkedIn documents as an export. Advanced Plus includes CRM Sync, embedded profiles and lead creation for Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics and HubSpot. Sync your saved leads into the CRM, then run a normal CRM export to CSV.

The catch is the plan. Advanced Plus is "customized based on your sales team's size, CRM integration, and onboarding/training needs". LinkedIn does not publish a price. Third parties report it starts around $1,600 per seat per year as of September 2026. Core is $119.99 a month and Advanced $159.99 a month billed monthly as of September 2026 (compare plans), and neither includes CRM Sync. Advanced does let you create a lead or contact in the CRM from a lead page, one at a time, and reviewers report a 10+ seat requirement for the full CRM integration on Advanced.

This is the right answer for a 20-rep team already in Salesforce, not for a two-person founding team.

2. SNAP partner apps

The Sales Navigator Application Platform is the only API. There is no self-serve API for customers. Vendors apply, pass a design review, and "the SNAP team usually responds to your application within 30 days". If a tool you already pay for is a SNAP partner, it can read your saved leads legitimately. Check whether the partner pulls lists or only shows embedded profiles, because many only do the second.

3. Third-party extractors

Evaboot, Wiza and PhantomBuster are the names that come up. They are Chrome extensions or cloud scrapers, not LinkedIn products, and they read the search results page and write a CSV.

Two LinkedIn caps apply whatever tool you use. Search shows "up to 2,500 lead results across 100 pages", so any search bigger than that has to be split into smaller searches (by region, by headcount, by seniority) and run one at a time. And "You can save up to 1,000 leads in each list and 10,000 total leads", with bulk save 25 at a time, so a list can never hold more than 1,000 people.

Now the part the extractor vendors put in small print. LinkedIn's User Agreement, section 8.2, forbids using "software, devices, scripts, robots or any other means or processes (such as crawlers, browser plugins and add-ons ...) to scrape or copy the Services, including profiles" and "bots or other unauthorized automated methods to access the Services, add or download contacts". An extension that copies search results is exactly that. The realistic consequence is a restriction or lockout on the account doing the scraping. And getting back in is hard: linkedin.com sits at 1.1 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 3,856 reviews, mostly account lockouts and unreachable support. If that account is your personal profile with ten years of connections, price that in before you install anything.

4. Manual copy for small lists

For under 100 leads, I would just do this. It is slower, it is boring, and nobody gets locked out.

  1. Build the search and save the people you want to a lead list. Bulk save works 25 at a time; a list holds up to 1,000.
  2. Open a blank sheet with these columns: full name, title, company, LinkedIn URL, location, one line on why they fit.
  3. Work down the list. For each lead, open the profile, copy the public LinkedIn URL from the address bar (the linkedin.com/in/ one, not the Sales Navigator URL; other tools only accept the public one), then title and company.
  4. Write the "why" as you go. This is the column every other route skips and the one that makes the first message good.
  5. Save as CSV.

Fifty leads is a coffee break.

What to do with the list

A CSV of names is not pipeline. Sales Navigator's own data "can occasionally be stale; past employees listed as current", per Capterra reviewers, and a search built at 11pm always has a few people in it who do not fit. If you load the raw list into a sender, you message those people too.

This is where PumpGTM comes in. PumpGTM is an AI go-to-market engine for founders and small B2B sales teams: it finds buyers showing intent right now, scores every lead, and runs a paced LinkedIn sequence from your own account. It also takes a Sales Navigator import as a starting list, and treats it the same way it treats leads it found on its own.

Every imported lead is checked against your ICP and against live signals (hiring on Greenhouse, Lever or LinkedIn Jobs, funding, tooling changes, LinkedIn post engagement) and scored out of 100. Anyone under 60 gets no message. On a typical import of 160 Sales Navigator leads you might see 148 pass and 12 skipped: the two who already changed jobs, the four who turned out to be agency contractors, the six at companies with no live signal this month. I wrote about why we score before we send in lead scoring before outreach; the short version is that the 12 skipped are the ones that would have burned your acceptance rate.

The 148 that pass go into the sequence: day 0 profile view, day 1 like a relevant post, day 2 a personalized connection request, then a contextual follow-up. Optional email steps run from your own Gmail, Microsoft 365 or IMAP mailbox. Replies get sorted and the qualified ones land with you. For one SF team in the last seven days of September 2026 that meant 546 invites, 356 accepted (68 percent), 98 qualified replies and 38 enterprise demo meetings.

Two honest limits. PumpGTM is LinkedIn and email only, no phone. And it is not a 200M-contact data vendor; it builds lists from live signals plus imports like this one. If you also want to bring lists from other tools, the same import works for a Lemlist leads export or an Apollo contacts CSV, and Apollo alternatives covers where Apollo fits as the database side of a stack. For a wider look at what else runs LinkedIn sequences from a founder's own account, see LinkedIn automation tools for founders.

Pro is $75 a month as of September 2026 (list $99), up to 3,000 leads a month, with a 7 day trial. Start the 7 day trial and import your first Sales Navigator list during onboarding.

Questions people ask

Can I export Sales Navigator leads to CSV or Excel? Not natively. LinkedIn's help center states it does not offer export of account or lead information to CSV or XLS. The documented route is CRM Sync on Advanced Plus, then exporting from Salesforce, Dynamics or HubSpot.

Is using Evaboot, Wiza or PhantomBuster against LinkedIn's terms? Yes. Section 8.2 of the User Agreement forbids scripts, browser plugins and bots that scrape or copy profiles or download contacts. The practical risk is a restriction on the LinkedIn account used for the extraction.

Why does my extractor stop at 2,500 leads? Sales Navigator search only shows up to 2,500 lead results across 100 pages. To get more you split the search into smaller searches, for example by region or company size, and run each one separately.

How many leads can I save to a Sales Navigator list? Up to 1,000 leads per list and 10,000 saved leads in total, saving 25 at a time when you bulk select.

Does Sales Navigator Core or Advanced include CRM Sync? No. CRM Sync is on Advanced Plus, which is custom priced. Advanced includes lead and contact creation into the CRM from a lead page, and reviewers report a 10+ seat requirement for full CRM integration.

What does PumpGTM do with an imported Sales Navigator list? It checks each lead against your ICP and live intent signals, scores it out of 100, skips anyone under 60, and runs the rest through a paced LinkedIn sequence from your own account, with optional email steps from your own mailbox.

PumpGTM finds the buyers showing intent this week and runs the outreach from your own LinkedIn account. 7 day trial, $75 a month after.
