How to export leads from Lemlist
Exact Lemlist menu paths to export leads and campaign results, the CSV columns, the one campaign at a time limit, plan gating, and how to move the list.

Your Lemlist renewal is coming up, or a campaign finished and the founder wants the replies in a sheet, or you are moving the LinkedIn half of your outreach somewhere else and need the leads to come with you. Whatever the reason, you need the data out. Here is how to export leads from Lemlist, path by path, plus what the file actually contains and what to keep when you load it into the next tool.
The good news up front: Lemlist does have real export buttons, which is more than Sales Navigator can say. The less good news is that exports are per campaign, and the results file needs a careful read.
Two exports, two menus
Lemlist splits your data into two files that come from two different places. Leads are the people. Campaign results are what happened to them, step by step. You will usually want both.
| What you get | Path in Lemlist | Format | Scope |
|---|---|---|---|
| Leads | Campaigns, open campaign, Leads list tab, top checkbox, Export as .CSV | CSV | one campaign |
| Campaign results | Campaigns, open campaign, Performance, Export campaign | CSV | one campaign |
| Everything, programmatically | REST API at api.lemlist.com | JSON | all campaigns |
Export the leads
- Open Campaigns and click into the campaign.
- Click the Leads list tab.
- Filter first if you only want a slice (for example, only leads that replied, or only a certain company). The export respects the filter.
- Tick the checkbox at the top of the list to select everyone shown.
- Click "Export as .CSV".
The CSV contains name, email, company, LinkedIn URL, phone, and your custom variables. That last one matters. If you stored job title, city or a personalization line as a custom variable, it comes along. If you never created a title variable, there is no title column, and you will be adding one by hand later. Lemlist's help article on exporting leads is the source for this path.
Export the campaign results
- Open the campaign.
- Click Performance.
- Click "Export campaign".
This CSV has one row per lead and a column per step per event: sentAt1, openAt1, repliedAt1, linkedinSentAt1, then the same for step 2, step 3 and so on. It is wide, but it is the only place the reply status lives, so you need it.
One limitation to plan around. Lemlist's own help says multi-campaign export "is no longer available". You export one campaign at a time. If you ran 14 campaigns this year, that is 14 clicks through Performance and 14 files to stitch. Set aside half an hour, and name the files by campaign as you go, because the export does not put the campaign name inside the CSV.
Plan gating and roles
Lemlist does not state any plan restriction on exporting leads or results. The Email plan at $69 a month and the Multichannel plan at $109 a month (both billed monthly, as of September 2026, Lemlist pricing) both appear to have it. The one caveat the help center gives is that "Some team roles may have restricted access". Lemlist has Admin, Member and Extern roles, and agencies using the Agency cockpit manage separate client teams. If you are a Member and the export button is not there, ask your Admin rather than assuming the plan is the problem.
If you need everything at once, the REST API covers leads and activities, with a rate limit of 20 requests per 2 seconds. Lemlist also runs an MCP server at app.lemlist.com/mcp, so an AI client like Claude or Cursor can pull leads and analytics without you clicking through 14 campaigns.
Export before you cancel
Lemlist does not publish what happens to your leads and activity data after a subscription ends, so treat the last day of the billing period as the deadline. Do the leads export and the results export for every campaign that still matters, then cancel. I have seen founders cancel first and then ask for the data, and it becomes a support ticket instead of a click.
Also, read the results file with some skepticism. The most repeated complaint on Capterra is that "the reporting is literally unusable", with false opens, clicks and lead scores. Open tracking is unreliable across the industry (Apple Mail Privacy Protection alone inflates it), so the openAt columns are noise. The repliedAt columns are the ones you can trust, and they are what you should filter on.
Moving the list into another tool
Whatever you are moving to, the file you want is a merge of the two exports keyed on email or LinkedIn URL, with these columns kept:
- Company. So the new tool can check the company still exists and is still your ICP.
- Title. From your custom variable, or added by hand from the LinkedIn URL.
- LinkedIn URL. The public linkedin.com/in/ URL. This is the join key for any LinkedIn-first tool.
- Reply status. Derived from the repliedAt columns. Split the file into replied, no reply, and never contacted.
Then drop the replied ones from any new cold sequence. They already know you. The first two groups are your import.
Here is what that looks like in PumpGTM. PumpGTM is an AI go-to-market engine for founders and small B2B sales teams. It finds buyers showing intent right now (hiring on Greenhouse, Lever or LinkedIn Jobs, funding, tooling changes, LinkedIn post engagement), scores every lead out of 100, and runs a paced LinkedIn sequence from your own account, with optional email steps from your own Gmail, Microsoft 365 or IMAP mailbox. When you import the Lemlist file, each lead is scored, anyone under 60 gets no message, and the rest go into the sequence: day 0 profile view, day 1 like a relevant post, day 2 personalized connection request, then a contextual follow-up. Replies are sorted and the qualified ones come to you.
Be honest with yourself about which tool you need. If your outreach is mostly email volume, 50,000 emails a month on the Email plan, SMS and WhatsApp, and a built-in dialer, Lemlist does things PumpGTM does not. PumpGTM is LinkedIn and email only, no phone, and it does not run a multi-inbox warm-up farm. If the LinkedIn half is what you care about, and you want the list scored before anyone gets messaged, that is our side. The PumpGTM vs Lemlist page puts the two side by side, our Lemlist review goes through what reviewers praise and where they get stuck, and if you have already decided to leave, Lemlist alternatives covers the field. Bringing an Apollo list too? The Apollo contacts export has its own credit rules.
Pro is $75 a month as of September 2026 (list $99), up to 3,000 leads a month, 7 day trial, month to month. Start the 7 day trial and upload the merged CSV during onboarding.
Questions people ask
Where is the export button in Lemlist? For leads: Campaigns, open the campaign, Leads list tab, tick the top checkbox, then "Export as .CSV". For results: open the campaign, Performance, then "Export campaign".
Can I export all Lemlist campaigns at once? No. Lemlist's help center says multi-campaign export is no longer available. You export one campaign at a time, or pull everything through the REST API.
What columns are in the Lemlist leads CSV? Name, email, company, LinkedIn URL, phone, and any custom variables you created. Job title is only included if you stored it as a custom variable.
Do I need a specific Lemlist plan to export? Lemlist states no plan restriction on exports. Some team roles may have restricted access, so if the button is missing, check with your workspace Admin.
How do I get reply status out of Lemlist? Export the campaign results from Performance. The repliedAt1, repliedAt2 and later columns show when each lead replied at each step. Treat openAt columns as unreliable.
What should I keep when I move a Lemlist list to PumpGTM? Company, title, public LinkedIn URL and reply status. PumpGTM scores each lead against your ICP and live intent signals, and only messages leads that score 60 or higher.
