Waalaxy alternatives for when templates stop being enough

Six Waalaxy alternatives compared on price, channels, invitation limits and MCP as of September 2026. Where Waalaxy still wins and where it runs out.

You picked Waalaxy because it was EUR 19 and it worked in an afternoon. Six months later you want a sequence that branches when someone accepts but does not reply, and there is no template for that. The Pro plan's 300 invitations a month ran out on the 12th. A campaign sent the wrong message variant to a batch of prospects. You asked support a question at 10 a.m. Pacific and heard back the next morning, France time. That is when people search for Waalaxy alternatives.

I run PumpGTM, one of the six below. Prices and complaints come from the vendors' own pages or public reviews, checked September 15, 2026. Where Waalaxy remains the better choice, I say so.

What Waalaxy does well

Waalaxy is a French LinkedIn plus email sequencer: Chrome extension for login and import, cloud for running paid campaigns without the browser open. It sends invitations, follow-ups, visits, follows and cold email, with 99+ prebuilt sequences. The thing everyone says is that it is easy. "Really simple to get started," per Capterra. The Chrome Web Store rating is 4.8. Trustpilot is 4.7 across 1,294 reviews with only 3 percent one-star, which is the best one-star ratio of any tool on this page.

It is also cheap. Pro is EUR 19 per user per month, Advanced EUR 49, Business EUR 69, as of September 2026, with quarterly at 20 percent off and yearly at 50 percent off. There is a free tier with 3 actions a day per type. The Sales Navigator integration is called "particularly effective," and the daily quotas are conservative and randomized, which is good for account safety. Since 2026 there is an official MCP server (Advanced and Business) plus a "Copilot" Claude skill that works on any plan.

For a solo seller or recruiter in Europe running a simple invite-then-follow-up play, Waalaxy is still hard to beat on price.

When to look elsewhere

The limits show up in five places.

Templates only. Reviewers on multiple sites note custom sequence building is limited to the templates. If you want if-then logic, you need a different tool.

Volume caps. Pro is 300 invitations a month (11 a day). Advanced and Business are 800 a month, capped at 200 a week. A LinkedIn Inbox add-on runs about EUR 20 per user a month on top.

Price creep. Prices roughly doubled since mid-2024, and Capterra reviewers say the features "don't really offer anything that cheaper options don't already have."

Bugs. "Buggy behavior during campaigns, like incorrect messages being sent." Limited email personalization variables and weak tagging.

Support and billing for US users. Up to 24 hours for a human, support hours that miss the US day, refunds taking "up to ten business days," and billing in euros only.

No third-party intent signals either; you assemble the list yourself.

The alternatives

PumpGTM

PumpGTM is an AI go-to-market engine for founders and small B2B sales teams. It builds the list from live intent signals (hiring on Greenhouse, Lever or LinkedIn Jobs, funding, tooling changes, LinkedIn post engagement), scores every lead, and runs a paced LinkedIn sequence from your own account with optional email from your own Gmail, Microsoft 365 or IMAP mailbox.

Price as of September 2026: Pro is $75 a month (list $99) for up to 3,000 leads a month, extra users $25 each, 7 day trial, month to month, billed in dollars. Fits a founder or 1 to 4 person team whose bottleneck is finding the right people, not sending. Weakness: launched September 2026, roughly four times Waalaxy Pro's price, no phone channel, and no free tier. Full introduction below.

Dripify

Cloud LinkedIn drip sequencer, one LinkedIn account per seat. Basic $59, Pro $79, Advanced $99 a month as of September 2026 ($39, $59, $79 annual). Fits the Waalaxy user who wants a real drag-and-drop builder with 15+ actions and conditions, a dedicated IP on every plan, and Gmail or Outlook email steps in the same sequence. Capterra is 4.7 across 477 reviews: "First time users will figure it out in 5 minutes." Weakness: no MCP at all, Basic allows one campaign that "can't be edited or archived," webhooks cannot carry message content, and users report restrictions "when using default settings."

Expandi

Cloud LinkedIn automation with conditional smart sequences (19 actions, 11 conditions per the homepage) and email steps. Business is $99 per seat per month as of September 2026, $79 annual with a 12-month lock-in. Fits teams that want serious branching and a per-account IP, and onboarding support that reviewers rate highly. Weakness: the ban stories are the loudest here. "Literally lost my lifelong account with 1000+ connections" (r/LeadGeneration). Capterra reviewers also report being billed for more seats than they bought, and personalization add-ons push real cost to an estimated $257 to $277 a month. The direct comparison is at /vs/expandi-vs-waalaxy and the alternatives list at /alternatives/expandi.

HeyReach

Cloud LinkedIn automation for running many accounts. Growth is $79 per sender per month as of September 2026, Agency $999 for 25 senders. Fits an agency with 5 or more LinkedIn accounts that wants sender rotation and one Unified Inbox. Weakness: overkill and overpriced for one account ("can't justify $79/month when I only use 3 LinkedIn accounts"), Trustpilot 4.0 with 22 percent one-star, support waits of "3 business days," and no native email. More at /alternatives/heyreach.

Lemlist

Multichannel outreach: email, LinkedIn, SMS, WhatsApp, a dialer, a 650M+ database and lemwarm. Email plan $69 a month, Multichannel $109, as of September 2026; LinkedIn steps require Multichannel. Fits teams that want email as the main channel with a real warm-up system, plus a 40+ action MCP server. Weakness: metered credits (verification 5, phone 20, intent 20 to 400) charged even when nothing is found, and reporting one Capterra reviewer called "literally unusable."

La Growth Machine

French multichannel automation sold per identity (one LinkedIn account plus its inboxes). Basic is EUR 60 per identity for LinkedIn and email with 250 enriched leads a month, Pro EUR 120 adds calls, a multichannel inbox and API, as of September 2026. Fits a Waalaxy user who wants to stay in euros but needs a dedicated 5G mobile proxy per identity, voice notes, HubSpot or Pipedrive sync, and an MCP server. Safety is the praised trait: "all the other tools just get me banned." Weakness: three to six times Waalaxy's price, "You really just can't customize your emails all that much," and a Trustpilot one-star from someone who "spent $10,000 on the worst experience ever" over webhook failures.

How PumpGTM is different

PumpGTM finds the buyers who are showing intent this week and runs the LinkedIn conversation for you, from your own account, until someone qualified replies.

Waalaxy is a sender. You bring a Sales Navigator search, pick a template, press go. PumpGTM starts one step earlier. Step one: it builds the list from signals: a Greenhouse or Lever posting for the role you sell to, a funding round, a tooling change, or the people who liked a competitor's post. Sales Navigator imports work too. Step two: every lead gets a score out of 100 and anyone under 60 is skipped, so your 200 invitations a week go to the top of the list (the thinking is at /blog/linkedin-lead-scoring-before-outreach). Step three: a paced sequence runs from your own account: day 0 profile view, day 1 like a relevant post, day 2 personalized connection request, then a contextual follow-up, with optional email from your own mailbox. Replies are sorted and the qualified ones come to you.

Proof from one San Francisco team over the last 7 days in September 2026: 546 invites sent, 356 accepted (68 percent against roughly 20 percent industry standard), 98 qualified replies, 38 enterprise demo meetings booked. We run GTM for 10+ YC companies. Dhravya Shah at Supermemory: "PumpGTM found exactly the right leads for my business and reaches out to them, automatically."

It runs as an MCP server (mcp.gigacatalyst.com, OAuth) for Claude, Cursor and Codex on every plan, not just the upper tiers. The AI client can find buyers, draft and send LinkedIn messages, and read replies. Details at /mcp.

The honest limits. We launched in September 2026. It costs more than Waalaxy, and there is no free tier. No phone, no SMS, no X channel. Not a data vendor; the list is signals plus your Sales Navigator imports. If all you need is a cheap invite-and-follow-up sender, Waalaxy Pro is still the right answer. Questions people ask

Is Waalaxy still worth EUR 19 a month? For a solo seller or recruiter running a simple template sequence, yes; the reviews are strong (Trustpilot 4.7, Capterra 4.4) and the safety quotas are conservative. It stops being worth it when you need custom branching, more than 800 invitations a month, or fast US-hours support.

Which Waalaxy alternative lets me build custom sequences? Dripify (15+ actions and conditions), Expandi (19 actions, 11 conditions) and La Growth Machine all have custom builders. HeyReach has "If Connected" conditions. PumpGTM runs an opinionated fixed sequence with a scored list in front of it.

Does Waalaxy have an MCP server? Yes, official, but only on Advanced and Business (EUR 49 and up as of September 2026). The Copilot Claude skill works on any plan including free. Dripify has no MCP. Lemlist, HeyReach, La Growth Machine and PumpGTM include theirs on every paid plan.

How do I export my leads from Waalaxy? Open a prospect list or the All leads tab, filter if you want, select the whole list, click Export and download the CSV. It includes name, email, phone, LinkedIn URL, Sales Navigator URL, company and custom columns, on free and paid plans alike.

Is PumpGTM a Waalaxy replacement? If your problem is finding the right people, yes. If your problem is that Waalaxy is EUR 19 and you want to keep it that way, no. PumpGTM is $75 a month as of September 2026 and earns that by building and scoring the list, not by being a cheaper sender.
